As I walked through an airport terminal Saturday, I saw something that I never though I would see. As pets are now accompanying people on flights for therapy reasons, I surely understand the need for such facilities.

Still, "I never thought I'd see the day...."

This was right next to the "men's" and "women's" rooms:

Whether or not we agree with it, dogs are people now.

Jimmy Ladwig should be arriving with something sensitive to say that reflects his deep affection for our four legged family members...

Only in America are we so sensitive to the needs of ANIMALS!
If we were a third world country ( And we are soon to be because of the IDIOT democrats) those little darling pets would be our dinner. Ask Marty about his little doggy he carries around like it's his baby. Think of all those pitbulls down in the ghetto. Now if we can just get them to BBQ them there would be no need for food stamps.

THIS WHOLE THING MAKES ME SICK!

DON'T DO IT AGAIN JIM!

It's not the democrats or republicans who are ruining everything. However, the media are propagandizing us relentlessly to blame anyone or anything besides the real culprits which are the super wealthy who own everything and control politicians into supporting legislation that benefits them only, never us! Don't fall into this trap, Jimmy and others. The right and left have the same enemy--the dark state--they are in the shadows and don't even want us to know they exist. Until we wake up and expose the crimes against us, they will continue to rule with an iron fist--more for them and less for us until we are totally wiped out.

Watch this great short video from George Carlin:

One of my customers has one of those areas too. Trending I'm afraid.View attachment 72843

Yes, a "great" trend.

"Teach your dog that its ok to urinate indoors" :icon_rolleyes:

Still, the fact is that nearly half of Americans own dogs, and a third own cats. Trying to ignore or fight this trend is like trying to stand in front of a tsunami with your arms up in the air and expecting that you can stop it.

I have someone who does have a "Safe" area in the dining room for her dogs to pee on. Bought that special carpet and pad. But expects me to do miracles when it's her who should correct their behavior.

Thanks Steve that opened my mind.

The problem today is that people think you should make exceptions for them personally. My belief is that people who live in apts or condos should not own dogs. A well trained dog may not pee in the condo but once he's out the door, he's liable to pee in the hallway, elevator ,parkade, etc. People today have no idea how to train a dog. As a kid, we always had dogs. My mom would train a new dog or puppies in 2 days to ask to go out. It's not that hard. People are just too fooking lazy and want to blame someone else for their own inadequacies

Wonder what type of carpet? Rubber backed carpet tiles.... maybe on a daily cleaning basis?

I was going to go in and check, but I was running late for my connecting flight.

Its funny how "the future" creeps up on us day by day so the weirdness of it all doesn't really sink in.

My daughter (a psychologist...probably chose that career path because of her nutty father) tells me that therapy dogs seem to work better than meds for some people, so who am I to criticize?

Still, it just seems odd seeing them everywhere today.

Maybe we should all pitch in and get a therapy dog for Jimmy? I'm sure Lisa has something both loving and incontinent for him.

Time to get ready for the pet odor class I'm teaching today. I've got some great pictures to start out the day!

I remember in Germany dogs were allowed everywhere, bars restaurants on busses.

It's a dirty place to live. Urinating in public is permitted.
