I'm paying $400 a month(Verizon and At&t) for 5 lines 3 with data.. Seems crazy to me,and on top of that $190 for cable!! Something has to give..

my cable and internet sneaked up to $183....so i called and told them that i just recieved a direct cable flyer in my mailbox.....i even rattled a piece of paper that she heard.......they sent me to THE RETENTION ROOM....where they got me down to about $120 PLUS HBO....SHOWTIME and CINEMAX...which i didn't even have before.........did the same thing wit SPRINT and got a little over fitty bucks taken off....
you HAVE to convince them that you want to be shut off........

First thing I would dump is the cable.

High speed Internet is all you need nowadays, especially with a smartTV.

Hasn't running a carpet cleaning business caused you enough dain bramage to where you can do without 400 channels of senseless babble to stare at?

You may be able to lower your data plans if you can get everyone involved to use be sure to use your wifi network when home instead of the carriers network.

A data monitoring app on your phone can be a real eye opener in regards to how much data can be gobbled up in a seemingly short period of time.

We're 5 smart phones verizon edge upgrade once a year with trade in 15 shared gigs around $300 a month my kids all pay $60 each to for they're phones.

I pay $120 per month for 1 line business and fios internet 50 up 50 down, the business forwards automatically to my cell if my wife gets a call and I have call waiting on my on my cell. Gives me a 3 line system that way.

We have another line on vonage $10 a month.

Cable is under a $100 but I do have netflix and amazon prime too. My wife loves her DVR.

Out of the 15.5 gig on cell phones data my son and daughter manage to use almost 12 gigs total My sos is a gig hoser! 7-8 his reasoning is we need to use it.

I like Bob's idea call an haggle when things start to get to high they'll always give you a better deal.

I like some sports so cable or satalite is necessary for me.

I don't even have cable, I have a smart TV with Netflix, Hulu Plus, and Amazon Instant. For a phone I have prepaid through Verizon and pay $60 a month with the extra data package. I've been all over the country with it and it works great.

The medical situation is killing small businesses....and just disheartning

My wife had in/out operation in january.

self pay almost $2,000 less, than WITH insurance. makes no sense

my accountant says if i drop insurance, Oboma hits me with $4500 penalty

I'mon board with VOIP and loving it.

Like BOB, i went to cancel my direct TV 90 day free stuff,, and they some how lowered 100 to 22. FEAR OF LOSS. works both ways

We use netflix, amazon prime and metro pcs...5 lines (coverage is fine) our costs for all is less than 125 a month, now you guys pay so much is beyond me. I hear ya clean image, insurance and the protections our government has allowed on that industry are out of control.

I pay 400 month for 6 lines thru verizon. cable is about 180 a month but I have the 300 mb internet, so I pay more for that.
