That's my new project.....inside that van an almost new Steam Genie (1022 hrs).....a little work here and some paint there.......and we'll have a BRAND NEW STEAM GENIE!!
...it's a 47 with a stainless Wanner pump! The guy let it freeze so the HX'ers are junk and i gotta rebuild that pump....eaasy peezy!
i will take pictures through out this journey....and show yous all how to make it JUS LIK NEW!

Like you said to me, it's too bad that those old Steam Genies didn't make BIG pressure otherwise it would've been a nice machine for Mikey to play with for occasional tile cleaning.

the good:
an almost new Steam Genie 47 Roots Direct Drive
stainless Wanner pump
brand new tires....
total hrs...jus over 1000......phenomenal!!!.....

the bad:

bad HX
gotta replace diaphragm in pump ..about $100.00
lotta rust (which is my specialty)
brakes
exhaust

will make someone an excellent backup machine or even a first machine for someone on a budget..
a new HX is about a grand......i figure this truck should sell for somewhere close to $4500 to $5000 when done!

and i forgot it prolly has a bad rear main seal.....no big deal!

i'm shopping hoods now......repops are about $89.95! and gonna rebuild the pump by the weekend......it sounds great when i run the machine....blower sounds sweet!

i'm adding the quick belt change feature as well....

man the tires are a WEEK old...jus lik new...look at that tread.... lol

Actually the truck drives rather well.....i put full coverage ins on it and bought the plates.......
i drove it to the brake and muffler shop today........
it jus had a $1800 trans put in 2 years ago.......still shiny!!!

Larry bid me $900 bucks for it already....!

NO it doesn't but i learned that you can put an A/C bracket right next to the driveshaft mount... it HAD A/C...

i was offered three of these units in the last year....
but they DIDN'T come with the tank
GOTTA have this tank.......you yahoos with the lint boxes kills me......

crap...got the brakes fixed( really work nice) but they wanted two hunnert to hang a muffler and tail pipe......
i can do it mysef for $75 or so............
