So will the pig still remove oil and the pog still remove ink or are there different components between the two? Basically I'm wondering if they are the same product with different names or are they completely different products.
As Larry says, many manufacturers attempt to make a POG or PIG product. They both remove the same types of stains.
Both POG and PIG are NVDS (Non-Volatile Dry Solvents) but may be a different combination of these solvents from brand to brand. They have to be rinsed with a volatile solvent to prevent residues that can resoil.
You may also want to look at a new product that uses water miscible solvents. Basically that means it will disolve in or mix with water and rinse out easier. This is calle OINK for Oil and ink remover.
