Recently purchased a used Certified pile lifter.

Coupla questions:

My brush has a flat spot on it...I guess from where it had been sitting for awhile. It is the natural veggie brush. Is the nylon the better choice?

Is it possible to unplug the vac motor and use it to pre-scrub without hurting anything?

On the spec sheet (on Larry's site) it says to "straighten brushes when finished". How?

Otherwise...it has been AWESOME on the area rugs we have had through the shop. And one job on front beach....well I found the erosion problem.

Thanks--WISE

Wise;

If you are vacuuming up sand, the nylon brush is the best choice.

Take your veg. fiber brush off & reverse the rotation to remove the flat spot. Don't leave the Pile Brush standing on the brush when you are finished.

Check the seals around the heavy-object trap.

It is a good addition to your tool set.

Wise, we use our Cert PB to scrub with.
We've used it for encRap too.
As well as slipped the TM vac hose over the vac port for some extra oomff

be sure to clean out the wet grit in the sand trap after use

Make a frame of 2 X 4 and put a 2 x 2 on the bottom inside, U shape. The brushes will not touch. Just do it!
