Feb 12, 2007 #2 C Carpet Dude Guest John, unless you have retractable wheels you may run into a problem with the bigger wheels rubbing on the apron. The wheels on the older rotaries are about 4".....I have a newer 17" rotary with 6" wheels. they work just fine up and down stairs.
