I recently read a great article in cleanfax about polarity having a link to residue removal of pre sprays. In the article it outlines that some sticky residues left behind in the carpet may have nothing to do with ph or rinse agents. According to the article polarity of carpet and cleaning products might be one of the most over looked areas of our industry. It later goes on to describe that depending in the carpet fiber and the polarity of the pre spray it might be getting absorbed into the fiber rather than being adsorbed and cleaning the surface only. Also addressed re soiling questions and recommended that applying protector after cleaning nylon is a good way to avoid resoiling. Anyway if you have that cleanfax laying around its a great article to read next time your on the toilet :winky:

I take any articles I read regarding cleaning with a grain of salt.
Because more than likely it's written by a company who makes that product and wants you to buy their brand.
So the article is biased.

Lot's of BS in the industry.

You girls are late to the dance on polarity mumbo jumbo. I don't know shit about that, but I use ultrachem stuff and it's pricey, but does an awesome job. Imagine using your prespray top remove rust, gum,blood, tar and a ton of I dunno's. They claim it's because of "ionic correction", again, I don't know diddly squat about that, but I do know it works great. I think I have some pics on my phone of it blowing out rust on a car carpet. I'll try and dig it up.
