I use a white pad but hogs hair works as well.

The mb-20 will actually polish the granite when it's dull . I guarantee that's not whats happening when you do it by hand. You're talking about a water spot remover, it's apples to oranges.

The Magic Al stuff is similar to a product I use for glass and granite to remove hard water deposits by hand but don't produce a pop. MB-20 and Hertron polishing paste have crystals that require heat and friction to bring out the luster and produce a great shine on granite

A buff off would attract a lot of cleaners, you should get with rob from stone pro as he is an awesome and very patient teacher.
