Yep we've cleaned those rugs in our rug shop . They're tricky to wash the cat urine smell out of for some reason!

Simple really... Find out where they bought it and add 10% to the cost of the rug... Throw it away and buy a new one.... Or they can save 10% and get it thereowndamnselves!

if hand-tufted you're probably not going to get urine out. You can't tumble them either. No issues with these cleaning through a Roll-a-jet flatbed washer.

Some guy here locally charges one of my customers 60 for his dog pissed one. It's an 8x8. I cleaned it last time because the guy couldn't get it back quick enough. It came out fine but the thick cotton backing probably took a couple days to dry. I read a label on a similar one and it said machine wash , line dry.
