Been doing some testing this week on a "Powder Encap" product. It is similar to this product that Ashley M. tested in this Facebook thread: [www.facebook.com/groups/TheCarpetCleanersPage/permalink/611118355710379/?hc_location=ufi]
Right photo is 8oz of 50% "Powder Encap" dried on glass plate.
Left photo is clean release of product from glass plate.
What are your thoughts about a "Powder Encap" cleaner.

And with the right polymer balance, it will also release from the fiber so that normal routine post-vacuuming can work to recover the soil. And since a well balanced encap detergent should ultimately dry crisp, there's no sticky residue that can attract further soil. Some encap products may also contain a fluoro-chemical which also contributes to the encapsulation and soil resistance property of the detergent.
