Been running a Freedom XT 47 for over three years. Intelligently engineered with industry-standard, quality components, all easily accessible. More than enough performance for single-wand operation. Eager customer support, (I haven't called since Ryan's accident.).

Biggest problems I've had:

Exhaust manifold which has been redesigned and replaced at no charge.

Cabinet panels finish stained by chems? Removed them.

I'm satisfied with mine. Don't know of another machine in its class I would trade for.

They are the nicest guys to deal with. I had a blower go bad prematurely and they sold me another one at cost...and it wasn't even a Powerclean machine!!!!

I have had a Genesis 59 (Ford powered version) for over four years.

The good: LOTS of vac. Lots of heat, easily maintains 270 ATM. Fairly reliable.

The bad: on my machine some cheap parts like the gauges. HORRIBLE on gas.

Would I buy another one?

NO. Absolutely NOT, unless they get a better grip on their distributor network.

If you have a good distributor that knows what the hell they are doing...then I would buy. If you don't...pass on by.

The folks at Powerclean are a good group, they just don't take very seriously issues with their distributors.

On almost any of the big truck mounts it is REALLY important to have faith in the ability of your distributor to diagnose and fix problems in a timely matter. If you have that you will be ok.

I own a 2003 Ford powered Genesis 59. I would say that my unit has treated me well. It's a little BIG ....I think it could be downsized a bit. The problems I've had dealt mainly with the diverter flap breaking at the flap/rod intersect. It happens about once a year......simple to replace but a PITA. I now keep a spare one in stock. It also generates alot of heat in a 3/4 ton van, with no place to vent it easily (except the roof vent or a fan blowing it out the door.) If the left side cargo door was available when I bought my 2003 express, I would have got it. That would have made servicing and cooling alot easier.

Would I buy again?? Probably not.....I will probably go the AT or Vortex route next purchase.

Thanks for the information. I'm wanting to buy another TM and I have about $16-18000 to spend. I currently have a Boxxer 421 but I'm wanting to get something else.

I have a 2004 Genesis 59SS with the Nissan engine.

I absolutely love it. I wanted a big machine and there were no options in New Zealand when I bought so after a lot of research, I settled on a PowerClean. I have no distributor in the country at all yet when I had a warranty issue with my blower, Ryan dealt with it from the States and flew a new unit out at their cost because the Dresser Roots agents were stuffing around. Can't ask for better than that, and they also reimbursed me for my costs as well 100%

In my opinion you can't deal with a better client focused company.

I've not had a single other problem in 3 years.

What's wrong with your 421?. Have you thought about a 427 or don't like HM.

I like my 421 but I want something a little bigger and as for the 427, I've been hearing that people are having issues with them.

POS diverter w/ solenoid activated valve will give you ongoing overheating issues and will cook the components that are near by since it well develop super hot exhaust leaks over time. I can't believe they still use it. They should already know better. They need a real SS diverter system like John's at HHX's.

I don't believe they use the electrical solenoid on the diverter any more. I know mine is a vacuum control and have had no trouble with it. The first unit I had used the other one and the flapper did break. They don't seem to make my unit anymore, the Victory 47, I assume because it is so problematic. When it works its a good machine. Good heat and vacuum. They tend to really choke these things down though. I opened up the plumbing a lot, added a cooling fan that blows directly on the blower belts, added length to the heat vent on top to exhaust more out of the van, many other small things and now I seem to have a more reliable unit. Still time will tell.
By the way I have a 2003 GM with driver side cargo doors.

I agree that Powerclean is a little slow in responding to what would be considered a more important issue when the machine shuts down. I also think that a few modifications made to the machines (which should be done before purchase) makes them a much more reliable machine. The biggest issue is getting the heat away from the machine while it is running, otherwise the belts get fried.

Down here, we have been agents for Hydra-Master, worked with Prochem and now we are the PowerClean agents for Australasia.

From our experiences dealing with all of these companies, the PowerClean team listen to us as a distributor better than any other truckmount manufactuter - PERIOD! We couldn't be happier with them and their support.

And remember, we cover an area larger than the United States and have customers in different countries even (Asia and New Zealand) and when we need to their support, we always get it!

Well their distributor here doesn't listen to shit. Or at least they didn't.

Won't get that subject started again, but needless to say Powerclean and that distributor will not get any business or referrals from....and a few others I know.

More than happy with my Genesis 59 SS NXT have about 700 hrs on it, both my brothers also run the same machines with very little down time.

Our distributor is Jim Bethel and he's about 4500kms away and that wouldn't stop me buying another.
