Some have asked before about replacing leaking water tanks on Powermatics. Some have went out and had SS units made up. I purchased an 8 gallon plastic water tank, installed the float and fill valve, also routed the oil cooler lines through the bottom. The plus is.....a screw on lid that will contain splashing water in the tank. Install a hose on top of the lid and drain it away from leaking on the heating coil. The leaking was my big problem years ago when I had this one in service. Plastic solved it quick and cheap.
