Has anyone noticed their powermax foaming everywhere when warm water is added?

Either i received an unevenly mixed pail or Cobb has changed the formula.

It reacts better than OSR when hot water is added.

Now, i have to mix an entire days worth before the V heats up. Otherwise, i have a foamy mess on my hands the rest of the day.

I have no trouble mixing it with super hot water.
The hotter the better. If you are using a hydro force, don't fill it all the way.
And after you shake the jug let the pressure off and let it settle a moment before topping it off.
Once you learn how you won't make a mess.

Larry must be sending the good Powermax to Zero Res

Whatever you do, don't try to boost PM with 40 vol!

Last time i did that most of the hydro-force was on the ceiling Ivebeensold

boosted PM with Grease Lightning today, and WOW! They way to go on poly and olifen.

It already HAS an oxidizer incorporated in the formula.

The Grease Lightning is just adding more powder prespray to the mix.

Heat does speed up the oxygen generation.

I dumped the Hyrdoforce for the electric Multi-Sprayer.

Same dilution ratio i've been using for the past 3 years or so (about 8 oz per gallon i think).

Just too much alkaseltzer (or whatever) in this pail of Powermax. Doesn't even require hot water to foam over. Luke warm will do the trick...

I've got another 45lb pail sitting on the shelf. If it does the same thing I'll have to send it back. thathurts

The only time I've experienced excessive foaming is when there is too much air in the water that I'm using to fill the jug.

How many scoops are y'all adding to a regular hydroforce?

6 scoops for carpet when metered @ 1:4 is what I add for normal cleaning. I adjust up or down depending on soil level.

For Ceramic tile cleaning I usually use around 10 scoops.

The great thing about Powermax (other than it's awesome cleaning power) is that you can go directly from carpet to tile cleaning without changing chemicals.
Gotta love that.

get a wide mouf funnel, and a regular measuring cup that goes to 20-32 oz....

for MOST jobs....this means after you take over on commercial jobs, and they keep it clean...IE every month - 3 mths

2 oz a gallon works great...

8oz a gallon??     ......fooook

i throw that much on jobs like this
