I thought that was the answer to your Q.

For those that don't know there is a solution restrictor at the QC that keeps it to 1.4 gpm. 1000 or 200psi will give you the same results.

There are 2 different restrictors for controlling flow. One for small TMs/portables and one for larger TMs. It has more to do with the ability to recover the solution.

i own the rotovac and my friend owns the drimaster and side by side my cleans much better on nasty carpets. The restrictor might explain the reason. Thanks
