I've been using the control valve that came on my SS handpiece on the end of my lead hose for probably 5 years or more. I have indexed the brass for reference at full stop. Usually clean about .25 -.5 turn out from full stop @250 psi with the RVJR, but it can be dialed about five full turns if needed

I would say it's more flow control than pressure regulator. Put that on your lead hose and every tool you run would have that feature.
