Price for stretching carpet

I occasionally have to stretch a room before I clean. I normally do the stretch pretty cheap because I am already there to clean ect, ect. Today I call on a stretch only. It was a pretty good size living room with a 45 degree wall. (don't know if that matters). 2 small bedroom and a hallway (pain in the butt, but no seams cut).

I am curious about pricing when it's a stretch only. Do most just go off an hourly rate or a room rate. I imagine on a hourly rate it would be a bit lower then cleaning carpet, since there is less expenses.

Sorry just thinking out loud. So what is the best way to charge for a repair only.

Typically I'll chArge between 75 and 150 per room depending on mumber of directions needed as well as any patches needed around in floor vents or door way seams that need to be redone

I am sure it varies by market, difficulty of the job, skill of the installer and so forth, but my experience is that the low end is about $3.50 per sq. yd up to about $5 per sq. yd. $200 minimum.
