Problems with Snail Airmover

My minuteman air mover makes a loud rattling noise on the high speed. On the two lower speeds it sounds normal. Whats up? It has been doing this for a year.

Is it rubbing on the outside grate/cover?

it is out of balance

kinda like a tire on your truck.......
at slower speeds it don't wobble but at a higher speed on the road it does

could be dirt on the fins.(if it is that kind).or there is usually a metal balance clip on one of them that may have fallen off............

Yep, end play, our distributor repairs our Drieaz airmovers, not sure if Minuteman is repairable?

I know our distributor says some cheaper models are just not cost effective to repair.

I would check with your distributor.

just put a roach clip with sum fishing leads on one of the fins, problem solved!!!

PS if ya don't have any roach clips handy, call CHAvass, he still uses em today!!! LOL

I'm squeaky clean, never did drugs, don't drink, don't smoke.

Chased the ladies when I was young, but now I'm too old and slow to chase them!

Food is my vice, my wife is even on me to clean up my act there!

Getting old is just no fun at all! :wink:
