Is it just me or is this stuff making you cough and gag too? Seems like my last jug got an overabundance of potassium meta bi sulfide. Reminds me of Chemspec's Haitian cotton stuff, but worse.

Really? That's some pretty mild stuff, we use it on delicate fabrics.

Fine Fabric Shampoo is one of the most "user/customer friendly" products I've used. Its not changed much in 40 years, nor should it. I'm not as much of a Prochem supporter as I used to be, but that product is great.

Now Fine Fabric COTTON Shampoo is another story. That's a rename of their Haitian Cotton Shampoo, which is indeed a metabisulfite loaded stinky concoction.

An unfortunate name similarity.

My guess is that you are "experiencing" the Fine Fabric Cotton Shampoo

I've had that happen with other manufacturers, so it is possible Willy.

If your smelling metabisulfite, it surely isn't Fine Fabric Shampoo. Get a batch number and talk to your distributor about it.

i use cotton care by geniecare and it works great,smells bad and cleans your hands well.
