Prochem waste baskets.....

So i thought i always wanted one of these, to catch the crap...

i got one thats kinda like it on the mytee waste tank, now I have this prochem machine..

I coul put a knee high in the mytee cuz its round...the handle in the middle causes issue

I use waist high panty hose in my Genesis. A little pricey, but keeps the tank a whole lot cleaner, and keeps the basket clean. "bout $5 for 4 pair. You could ask your custys for their old, used ones.........

Try just taking out that basket altogether Robert, alot less work cleaning that out numerous times a day. The only part of the tank that gets crudded up is the area by the basket. Although, I dump at a carwash , so all the shit comes out when I dump. If you're using an APO exclusively, it would be a totally different story.

I run a prochem machine it came with a basket that was made out of aluminum I would just flip it upside down and spray it out. after a while for some reason the bottom edges where they curve at the bottom started to split out, I bought a stainless replacement that was the same size, however the holes were too small and clogged way to easy. a few years back john olsen at superior had a stainless basket that has the same size holes as the original aluminum unit. this one works great, the holes are very smooth so I actually use a 4" putty knife and just scrape with one pass the sides and bottom and just dump it out, it only takes a couple seconds. sometimes when I am in a hurry I just scrape the sides and bottom and move all the crap to one side of the basket without even taking it out of the tank its almost as good as dumping it. these type of baskets are way better than the other stuff on the market especially using pool filter.

As Steve said, just turn it upside down and spray it Down. The crap should just fall out very little left in the filter. Takes only a few minutes.
