Prochem Water Softener owners

Mine stopped drawing the brine today, after lots of scratching my head (raft, Marty) I decided to take apart the Dema, low and behold that tiny screw was all the way in totally cutting off flow.

I opened it wide and all is well.

Question, in the manual it says to draw brine for 15 minutes than flush with just water for 3 minutes, is this what you are doing?

I used to run that model but don't anymore.

The directions are awful, so I ended up calling Prochem and they said to draw all of the brine you can (of course you can't draw it all since the tube doesn't go all the way to the bottom). Usually took more like 45 minutes or so.
