Protectant causing resoiling

Solvent protectors greatly increase resoiling and aren’t good at stain resistance.

That claim was made for solvent-based "silicone" protectors . . .

It does NOT apply to solvent-based fluorochemicals . . .

Guardsman was so confident in their higher quality Carpet Guard that they would pick up the warranty on Stainmaster carpet because use of their competing product would void the stain resistant warranty of the carpet. Of course you get what you pay for, and Carpet Guard was far more expensive than cheap silicone products that caused all the backlash about silicone products.
