Protective cover for upholstery tool?

You guys using a diy protective cover / boot / sox for sapphire scientific upholstery tool when not in use?

Never thought of it until today after disassembling to clean the inside.

For me, it's out-of-sight / out-of-mind.. I have to see it to remember it.. They have clear styles as well.. I just use the bungee cord and hang it up off the ground..

I bought 2 or 3 of those. All the zippers broke pretty quickly.
I've been using tool bags from lowes or menards. They fit in the van nice and work as a door stop.
I have a smaller bag for a spotting kit too but it stays in the van more often now.

Hey mike i’d follow the same pattern as the ss tool maybe a little tougher plastic, light and easy to clean. As someone suggested longer whip.
I dont like the flow dial on the ss tool. Maybe come up with a smaller knob somewhere on the tool instead of the solution line wrapped in a bag.

Mine came used, but the gentleman that sold it to me had a Hydramaster cover for the tool and a small mesh type laundry bag, that the tool and hose fit nicely in.

Good idea right direction but that bag looks too thin and no inner cushion.
