The Senior Living facility agrees the VLM makes the most sense for this time around.

They also requested "Scotchgard"..

Ive never applied or suggested doing so in the past so Id like to hear about any experience doing so..

Or is the Soileze additive in Releasit DS2 going to be the only option..

Basically asking if a clean polymer will attached to wet, soon to be encapsulated, if you believe in that, fiber that still has all the soil on in and around it..

Makes you wonder what a microscope would reveal....

Good question Mike.

Encap-Clean DS2 contains the same fluorochemical that’s in Soileze. The difference is that Soileze is just more concentrated.

The key function of Soileze is to lower the surface tension of the fiber so that soil will not be as easily attracted. Applying Soileze along with Releasit detergents makes sense because the products are fully compatible together.

It will certainly help to keep the carpet cleaner and to make it easier to maintain. However, simply using DS2 by itself will also resist soiling. Applying Soileze just kicks it up a notch.

Where we find the most call for Soileze is in traffic lanes. By applying it in the funnel areas with the highest traffic, it helps to keep the carpet in an easy to maintain condition.

Soileze can be applied directly after cleaning. It won’t diminish the ability for DS2 to crystallize. In fact it actually accelerates the Encap process.

Hope that gives you a little bit clearer picture of what you can expect with Soileze. It’s a popular choice for helping to maintain commercial carpet. Works well on residential too.

Oh....

I wasnt aware that it was available separately..

Whats the dilution rate and can it be added to the Cimex, since its all ending up there anyhow.

Speaking of additives, whats best for a lingering delightful "Ive Just Been Cleaned" scent as aposed to that common muddy grease stench that can stay around after ANY cleaning for too long?

Soileze gets sprayed down undiluted. Spray it lightly. Covers 600-800 sq ft per gallon. If you just do the funnel areas, a gallon will actually go a pretty long way. We don’t recommend adding in with your Cimex mixture.

For a nice lingering smell, you can use Odorcide Fresh Scent. Smells nice and won’t mess up the Encap process.

Yes

Soileze isn’t our biggest moving product. But we normally sell about a pallet of it a month. We wouldn’t continue to get a call for it if it didn’t work. :)

I do believe adding any deo would make that crystallizer a...............FILM FORMER.

Try EncapuGARD GREEN by bridgepoint. Good dilution ratio. But I fear it too is a FILM FORMER like all of the encapuclean line.

Nothing like a salesman saying anything to make a sale.

Wrong again Jimmy. In fact, the main reason we handle Odorcide is that it's compatible with Releasit's crystallization. It plays nicely with our encap polymer. When we discovered that it wouldn't destroy our encap process like other deodorizing products, we jumped in and started carrying it.

It's a cool product. Odorcide goes beyond deodorizing, it actually leads to the complete elimination of odors. And its effectiveness does not lessen when used in conjunction with detergents. It's been a popular product for us.
