Larry,

I've asked this question before in person but I just want to clarify it here in print.

What is the difference between your Fabric protector and your grout sealer?
I'm looking to push carpet protector heavier this winter and want to use your solvent product to get quicker dry times.

If I run out can I use the Grout product with and ill effect?

on the carpet , not my lungs, I plan to use a respirator.

Mikey;

I am glad to see you're reading the "fine print".

The two different solvent-based Ultraseals are:

1. Dynachem Ultraseal - our permium carpet protector.

2. Dynachem Ultraseal Impregnator - our premium grout & stone protector

They both use our proprietary fluorochemical system which gives unsurpassed water, oil and "dry soil protection".

We hoped that would be demonstrated at the last MikeyFest. :roll:

The difference between them is in the solvent types used.

The Impregnator has a solvent mix which allows better penetration in dense stone substates.

For Grout sealing, you could use the Ultraseal and get excellent results since it is a porous substrate.

For Granite or "Engineered Stones", the Impregnator will give you better results.

You could use the Impregnator on carpet, but it should be fan dried for best results.

Larry

P.S. To your location, UPS charges an additional $3 for a case delivered to a residential address.
You would be billed for this extra charge if shipped to a residence. The actual shipping charges would be Prepaid.

and on your stone enhancer product, how long will the enhanced look last indoors?

and out in my climate?

Some companies tell you that the effect lasts five to ten years but the sealing ability goes away much sooner.

I thought you were trying to give a more "green" appearance to your business?

Edible carpet....quote of the month!

respirator...lol spray the carpet, not the ceiling fans.

I know someone will comment on solvent protectors and health,,,usually it's the same dude that is currently smoking 2 packs a day....
I'm not putting on a respirator in Mrs. Piff's castle.

Mikey;

For any Enhancer, there are a number of variables affecting durability.

1. Cleaning Methods - Are customers using a good neutral Cleaner

2. Exposure to UV from Sunlight

3. Stone Condition could be anything from Granite to flaking Slate.

I would say one year as a general guideline for durability (Enhancer & Fluorochemical Protector).

Our solvent fluorochmical will last up to 2 years if it is cleaned with a neutral cleaner and
that cleaner is picked up.

Products touting 5 years are not exposed to real world conditions.

I like larry's low end solvent protector, its an inexpensive product that allows imo more value to the customer. I personally love the smell of it, but I did have a customer complain about the fumes, oh well I just used precendent for them.
