It's winter time here in the northern plains.
And that means snow.

How often have you been called to a client's house and upon arrival you noticed cars in the driveway and snow not removed?

So you park your van in the street and approach the door with a smile.
They knew you were coming because you called the day before.

You feel bad that you asked them to move the cars and perhaps shovel the snow to the front door for your access.

You appologize for the trouble .

You can solve this by having a snow shovel on board your van!

And if you have room you can bring a snow blower.
No more dirty looks from clients or that blank stare they give you when you mention why you had to gun your van so you could make it into their driveway (Hint hint!)

Maybe some can even put a blade on the front of their van to plow their driveway.

Harp....I have and I do pop on the HP washer wand to clear a path to the door. I'll even ask the custy if they would like their car cleaned off if it's covered with snow.

I'm dumb enough to have NOT moved away while I could.....

last big snow storm we had here (96) I almost got stuck several times. I did have to shovel my way into the driveway (vacant house) and to the door. Only time I got stuck was just as I was about to park the truck at home. Broke out the pressure washer gun and removed the snow from around my drive tires, pulled in and stayed there for almost a week while the snow storm shut down the city.

We had a big snow in 96 also. It collapsed a lot of old buildings in my area. I spent the day after Christmas (I think) on the roof of my building shoveling off 8000 square feet of roof. It was about 3 feet deep and really heavy snow. It took several days to dig the town out.

I had the same last year, Rick. We have a 4800 sf flat roof, and the weight of the one big snow was sagging the steel beams to the point that I couldn't open the garage doors. After shoveling a bit, it freed up the doors. There was still 3 inches of ice under that snow. I'm going to modify a light weight snowblower to raise the blades 3" off the roof so I won't hit the anchors.

If you melt the snow. You can then charge them for their new ice skating ring.

Don't forget to bring a couple of old skates from Goodwill for skate rental $$$$$$$$$$$$.
