Looking to try a new enzyme based pre spray, Currently using a nice green product for normal work, and flex (or Grease Eraser) for rat holes.

However I find that sometimes an enzyme pre spay is what I like on certain jobs. Mostly the pet pits with lots of various stains (poo, pee, vomit, dog oils etc.) it seems to help reduce post spotting and deal with mild odors.

In the past I've used powermax , or grease eater to fill this need. Both worked great for the above situation. but running low on the powermax and what to try something new that I can get somewhat local. (I like playing the field when it comes to cleaning products )

So im considering prozyme, I like that it has a moderate ph and no solvents.

wanted to ask those that use it, if it works well on pet stains and mild odor like powermax does? and in general how does it clean compared to powermax, or other enzyme products you may have used?

Also was considering redline powder for a try. but I cant find any distributor of it in my state. BTW, PLEASE don't bother recommending bio break to me, tried it ,,, it sucked .

Zymeaway is fantastic on pet urine. Zymeaway.com. Also great in kitchens, smokeer homes and on most organic carpet messes where you have health issues involved.

Three scoops of prozyme plus and two scoops of osr in my 2 gallon stainless pump up. Rinse with cleanfree And maybe tabacattack.

My waste tank rarely stinks neither.

Your taking care of the pet with an oxidizer the enzymes in prozyme don't do a thing. But I'm not a fan of enzymes for pet urine any way. I know enzall has enzymes for pet and so does grease eater

I like it just not for what you need it for more for trashed food build up soda spill. Not pet odor and stains. Good luck.

The nice thing about Redline is that it has enzymes, is a good cleaner and unlike some of the knockout high ph enzyme products out there, it still maintains the carpet warranty.
A product that can be used both commercially and at homes.

As with all these products- a little more agitation and dwell time, goes a long way towards greatly improving results.
But that is a lost art. Ain't it? :winky:

what would be a good test to see if its actually the enzymes or the builders uncluded in the enzyme cleaner that actually does the cleaning?

Usually you'll notice how easily soda and food stain are removed from conventional pre sprays.

I've used Prozyme for many years. Very effective at a lower ph. Sodium percarb can be added without the volcanic eruption experienced with other enzyme sprays.

I got some - excellent - just - excellent advice about a RedLine Powder here on Mikey's Board.

It changed my day to day business. Just overnight.

Best chemical I have ever used. Even better than Bio Break which impressed me a lot.
