Publishing testimonials

I thought I either heard it or read somewhere that you don't need permission to use a testimonial if.........you don't have a last name.

I've always stated that last names will not be published and just wondered. There is a line in the card that the customer checks if they're either ok or not with using it for marketing purposes. I'd like to get rid of it.

Just at tip Albert, include a photo of the person. It is much more powerful and for some reason people don't tend to think you made it up. I've had alot of comments regarding it. For what it's worth.
