I couldn't get the darn face-plate off. I could only get it to separate from the body about 1/4 inch. It's a Roots 45 URAI. I removed all the pulleys so just the spindle is sticking out. Anybody know why the face-plate won't come off?

Thanks,
James

James there should be two holes, one on each side in the middle of the face plate.

Find bolts that fit these holes and slowly tighten them in and they will force the plate off.

Thats how my 59 was anyway.

Just like some rear drums come off on a car/truck
