So I went to one of our local stone suppliers and told the owner I need marble so me and my guys can practice polishing .
She gave me 52 1 foot pieces .
Thank you sparks tile and stone .
Different verity of colors .
My question is before we install them any advice on real world situations?
I was thinking a corner in and out maybe in the shop bath room so there's a toilet .
Also (limping ) can't spell ) any way any advice before we move forward ?

"lippage".. meaning an uneven install which you could do if you wanted to learn grinding but make sure you're equipped to do so as it takes some heavy-duty equipment and training to pull off..

You may want to vary your grout widths and types and learn to deal with polishing around sanded grout which is a very common problem and hard to deal with

You don't necessarily need to have a toilet installed to practice using a Makita to get into the tight spots

Since every stone is different and requires various techniques, I wouldn't recommend mix-matching the marble in one area ..do at least a square yard of each variety so that you can work with a 175 and get some consistency as you learn
