Question for HOST machine users

If you are using a HOST Reliant/Freestyle or T6 machine, do you have issues with the gear cases continually cracking? We have 7 reliants, 3 free styles and 4 T6 machines. I am having to order gear case covers every month practically. I called HOST and their VP of Manufacturing said it was due to us. I have one machine that is only used by me, and after a week of putting on their faulty gear case covers, it cracks. Machines get tied down, they don't hit the walls, etc. So I know its not me, its the cheap plastic they make those out of.

Anyone else have an issue with this?

Will, would it be worth paying a machinist to fab some out of aluminum? One time, bite the bullet and never again have the issue. ??

I'm in those six. Yeah they crack, but as far as I can tell it doesn't affect anything
