Can a wool rug be overdried? I had two rugs that needed to be cleaned in a hurry
and I used a phoenix LGR with air movers to dry them in a 10x15 room.
Can this hurt the fibers (cotton and wool)? The dehu was on for about 15 hrs.
Thank you for your response.

Faster drying if anything will help prevent problems that could occur due to slow drying.

Yes.

If they are tufted, and you do not fully wash them well, you can get CRUNCHY fibers, and delamination. So it depending on the type of wool rug. Woven rugs should not be a problem.
