I'm not sure if you can make it any cheaper than thing already made for you. Plus this one folds up for easy storage. You might want to bolt them together, maybe add a flap so it rolls up easier or turn it around and use the other end. I'd drill a hole in the ramp and the van body and drop a bolt in it so it doesn't slip off on you. That's what I do with my pickup bed and snow blower ramp.

I bought some ramp ends at Lowes for $20 I think. Then you get some 2x6's and attach them to it. I think I made the 6' long. I made them for my floor machine.

We have three different kind, one solid wide enough you can wheel a portable on it, one the is 6-ft and folds to it self and one that has two ramps that folds in two for better storage.

I like the last one best but actually we send at least two guys to projects so I'm the only one that uses the ramps....for my snow blower. :smile:
