Have a large condo building I am doing today. Used to set up 350 feet of hose and spend 6-7 hours on this job. Glue down carpet that's been abused for 30 years. The floors are so uneven the wand chatters and skips all over the place. Used the Trinity Phoenix last time and what a difference. Easy passes up and down the hallways, wiping out all the coffee, beverage drips and urine stains like a hot knife through butter. Using Harvard's Oxy-encap. I premix all the chemistry I feel I will need and just swap out the jugs and pads as necessary. Extra 5 gallon pail of water incase I need to mix a little more. Oreck for the stairs.

Sager has a new version of that coming out with better concentrations and more effectiveness from the oxy component


We will be doing some side by side comparisons with it at the church in Phoenix in October, on a carpet that sounds much like yours, 30-year-old blue gray glue down that's been rug doctored hundreds of times...

How long did it take you using OP method instead?

I finished today just before 1. 4 hours for 4 very long hallways and 3 staircases with a total of 126 stairs. Janitor did the vacuuming for me and we are not cleaning any risers. Just the tread and bullnose. $1200.
