Just make sure the color doesn't bleed out of them. Some brands do that.

Dave;

Check those pads for dye transfer.

Some of them have been known to transfer red dye to light carpet.

Bonnets are safer and more absorbent.

Seen it! NOT GOOD!

They work fine on darker CGD, definitely not for light Berber.

What size are you talking?

What brands don't bleed?
I have a box of PowrFlite reds that somebody mentioned they bleed. I guess I will be tossing them in the garbage soon.

I make my living and reputation on red janitorial pads..
LOVE EM'..

I use the ones from my local Betco supplier.. and i have no worries using them on white of anything.. olefins, berbers.. you name it.

ya never know until you try what red and green pads will do for ya.

but to give sound board advice.. stick to white..
that way you can never say " I told ya so'..

I have the utmost respect for most of you guys but somebody is gonna run into a serious problem with the green pads. We use them to topscrub vct floors if they can remove todays floor finishes what are they doing to carpet fiber? And before the hounds come out I have used one in a pinch.

I got to hand it to Powerflight.

After my post they contacted me and offered a replacement case of pads.

Not only that they sent 2 cases (of another type pad) plus some other goodies.

Thanks Powerflight! 8)
