If it is the citrus that is in the formula we have. We started getting complaints once the tea tree was removed. I have to now deodorize after using the new product.

Please send me a message, email, or call. I'd love to get some more information. What you're describing doesn't make sense. We've been handling the new formula with the new scent for a couple of months now. Hundreds of gallons have been sold, and that's the first we've heard of anything like that. We've been hearing very positive things about the new scent. Our field testing cleaning real world carpets with the new formula have been excellent too... smells terrific! Please get in touch so I can talk with you and get some more information. Thanks!

Encap-1 still has the tea tree oil in it, so you can still have the tea tree formula. Or a few drops of tea tree oil could be added to the other products if desired.

We had people thinking (perceiving) that tea tree oil caused coughing. Tea tree oil doesn't cause coughing when the products are sprayed - but try convincing cleaners of that when their minds have already been made up. Of course, there is a possibility that some people may have allergies or sensitivity to tea tree oil. At any rate, the simple fix was to take it out. The new scent smells great. And the new scent also blends well with tea tree oil, if someone still wanted to add a few drops to their mix. Overall though, the new scent has been a success!

I greatly prefer the citrus scent. However, I did have one elf who reacted to the HydrOx, nose running and choking... some folks are just going to be a bad combination. Interestingly, within twenty minutes he was able to go in and groom the room, not a trace of reaction. Perhaps he'd hit something in the carpet and the peroxide formed a fume? I dunno.

Stuff works great.

I was helping a friend yesterday afternoon who is moving, and I cleaned the carpet in their old home. A woman who's a friend of their family walked in and said "wow it smells like an orange grove in here". That unsolicited comment is exactly what we were going for with the new scent!!!
