Sorry if this has been covered already. I tried using the search but it wouldn't let me.
Does anyone have a trick for getting built up liquid de-icer out of commercial carpets. The carpet is 11 year old grey commercial loop in a pawn shop. I tried using my nasty restaurant formula(Flex and citricolve), pre-bonnet, steam extract, then post bonnet(because of uneven concrete floor).
It looked way better and the customer was happy but I really think it could be better.
The de-icer behaved different than regular grease.

I have no experience with the liquid de-icers. We found an acid side product (Fab-Set) worked well as a prespray when dissolving the salts that were the major component of the de-icer.

Guessing that the liquid ones are glycol based. Hot water and Citrus Solv should help.
