So we have Been requested to try to remove a few drips of silicone. The HVAC company called us in a panic, and this is one I’m not so sure about. They wiped it up, so they smeared it...
Any suggestions?

I assume it's already cured? There is probably something better but seems to me that WD40 has loosened silicone when used in the shop on auto repair. Just a guess on my part.

I had a similar call on that stuff, only it was beige color. It might be different than red silicone, but I had no luck.

My plan was to try 99% iso, nail polish remover (acetone), or OilFlo....
Short of those 3 things, recommend replacing...

Dicone 9 from Sherwin Williams or other supplier. Expensive as hell. $260/gallon. Maybe you can buy a smaller amount somewhere.
