I'm not sure if this has ever been brought up here before, but if a distributor (like us) were to offer a "Rewards Program" to cleaners, what would make it attractive to you, the end user?

Would discounts off products and equipment be more attractive than "gifts"? Or would something like this not even be something you'd be concerned about?

We've kicked the idea around, and have fiddled around with a "Rewards Program" at our store, but just thought I'd reach out to cleaners and get their thoughts.

Hard to beat Sapphire's program.

Give points our for every purchase mad in the store or online.
How you will track the points is up to you. Could be simple like a punch card or plain old raffle tickets.
Excel spread sheet, notes added to their profile in your computer data base or again, like Sapphire's.

I would make it simple and obvious that if they buy the slightly more expensive version of a product that they make it back in points.

Are you thinking 5% or 10% payback?



I would think it would build some loyalty if the competition is not doing the same.
