When the snow clears from the High Sierra I'm going to pack three pairs of BVDs, two vacuum tshirts, some Kuhls and my toofbrush and hit the road..

First stop Redding Ca to visit my daughter and DevTom.

See if Tom can ride that 650..

Next up Curt and PMF

Try and get Al Paulson to join me for a while in the OR as I head north

Hydramaster
Service Monster
Sapphire

my brother Milo @ Coit.

Mt St Helen
The Olympic Peninsula.

Maybe go hug Willy in Vancouver before heading to Idaho and south for home

Do I take the 990 or get jiggy on the forest roads with the 690....?

Sounds like fun....just got into the hotel room about an hour ago...trying to get everything caught up via emails and internet....get work orders entered in....booked 8 jobs today....go figure...supposed to be slow...

Leave town and watch the business come in and the phone ringing!

Long day of driving tomorrow....Florida by Friday....

How about coming a little east of Oregon to SW Idaho.
I'll take you fishing. I know a couple of spots.

You mean trial tractor, don't you? I have the Rokon TrailBreaker with the aluminium wheels that float. There's some technology thats stuck in the sixtys! Mine is about five years old, and I bought it just before they released the new front-drive system.

AHHHH Mike Im jealous, that sounds like a blast. What bike are you leaning towards? Would think the 990 would be a little better suited for the gear and the distance. Im toying with the idea of riding to Atlanta in April if I can get away for a bit. Ive never done more then 400 miles in a day yet but am definitely wanting to do a little more distance.

Yeah, the 990...
But I can carry more stuff on the 690..

The vibes would kill me though and I'd probably get lost or eaten on the dirt up there

What do you have on the 690 that would enable you to carry more?

If you're on the OP call me I could buy you a beer or we can go get a cookie at the local store.
