I started a thread awhile back asking about enzyme pre sprays, once in a while I like to use them for those jobs with lots of food spills, dog oils, vomit, pee spots, drink spills and overall stink filth.
In the past I used grease eater, and then later powermax , those two both excelled on the above situations and made for very little if any post spotting. found that both also did a good job of general deodorizing.
Any hew, was running low on powermax and thought I would try something new that I could get more local.
noticed the oxy enzyme banner,, and come to find out they offer a free sample, perfect, lets give it a try.
Very mild, pleasant odor, No foam, mixed supper easy with hot tap water. First job was the PERFECT test.
Poly carpet supper dirty, greasy, food and drink all over, smelt similar to a garbage can with the food and drink rotting away, Plus,, black lab in the house , dog oil and a few pee spots with mild urine odor noticeable.
Normally, I would have used my kick but deodorizing pre spay and loaded it with peroxide and be done with it.
However, I could not pass up the perfect test opportunity to see what this oxy enzyme could do, after all this is the type of job I would want it for.
OK here we go..... I mixed it double strong, 4 oz per gall, sprayed heavy, raked in , let sit for 20 minutes.
Cleaned absolutely out standing , cut the general odor real well, still a mild pee smell in one corner, so I hammered that with some quat. other then that , a complete success.
The dude about craped his pants when he saw the end result, gave me a $20 tip.
BTW, this is how you review a product,, if I was like some of you dorks,, I would have just said,, "tried it, worked" the end. lol
