Looks like a line of CRB machines - several different models.

I use one from powrflite. Works well, counter rotating brushes water and soil to rubber roller in middle, scrapes off in holding tank. Main problem is that eventually it spits clumps out all over the place

It has a waste tray / reservoir , debris and water collection, yes it will pull stuff out carpet like crazy, and I avoid spitting clumps out by stopping and cleaning machine when it builds up , before clumps happen

On the rear. I think the problem is it's too efficient at digging the crud out of the carpet. Even though I prevac thoroughly, it still picks up a ton of stuff. Kind of a poor man's duplex machine

To cleam machine, you have to dump waste tray and vacuum or hose off brushes and roller. I bring a small wet/dry vac and turn the machine on it's side, run the brushes and vacuum at the same time

When cleaning, if I get build up of hair and debris, I periodically remove manually with my hand, end of job cleaning , I have a 1" deep tray that I pour water onto and run the machine to clean the brushes, then wipe down with towel

Is that like the Duplex? I believe Stephen uses a Duplex in his business regularly.

Well, to tell the truth, I just got it at a good price. A lucky find. It wasn't that I wanted any particular machine.
For my business, it is ideal. For you guys who prescrub and use TMs, it would be too big and too clumsy.

I had a dp420 on loan for a time, it was awesome. It was a used machine and the only reason I didn't buy it was he wanted the full new price for it. I ended up with the powrflite multiwash and it's ok but not as nice as the duplex. In Europe where they have 220 volts, they have a steam vapor option. I'd love to get one of those and convert to a dual cord 110 volt machine.

I know peoples opinions differ from one another but I wouldn't considered that "rinsed".... To each their own....

Nate, for one like that I'd use Releasit Punch and do what he did, then a relatively fast extraction with my porty. It would not be nearly as fast as with a TM but given the variety of what we do, we make do with things that can be loaded or unloaded as needed.

It'd come out really good. There are times I wish I had a dedicated TM vehicle, but then again, there are times I wish I were 25 again and had hair.

Well, now, you'd be surprised. I have a medical account you couldn't get a hose to and using a porty would take hours and hours.

So I do use just the dp420 and where there is heavy soil, just let it drip and scrub and recover. What comes up is about like grey-black paint, but the carpet is actually deeply clean! I know because being a suspicious old Coastie I looked at the fibers with a magnifying glass. Just another way to skin the cat, I suppose.
