Rust removal

on tile what's the best product. Currently I use star clean and a zep acid with a scrubber by hand. Works but very slow. Today we had a lot of rust and I spent close to 1/2 hr removing it. Must be a faster product.

Don't use whink on a glazed tile unless you want to etch the finish

Years ago I used to use automotive rubbing compound. Same thing on glossy tile. Gotta go easy. What works on gloss

Alpha RSR 2000 will get it off. It turns it purple first, then you have to clean the purple. Not a big deal.

BE absolutely sure to use a respirator and long gloves. You haven't experienced pain until hydrofluoric acid starts eating into your flesh. How do I know this? I got it on my fingers once. 2 fingernails removed, both fingers surgically cut to the bone and calcium injections to neutralize the acid and the incisions left open to drain.Extremely painful. The only thing that will contain hydrofluoric acid is plastic. I now have very limited feeling in those 2 fingers. There's far safer ways than that.

Look at the pictures on the second site or google hydrofluoric acid burns. Hit the images, but you'd better have a strong stomach. Don't use that shit. Period.

That burn is from 70% HF, nowhere remotely close to the concentration you can buy it in. Yes its dangerous, but not as dangerous as what caused those burns

You should always be careful when handling chemicals.

You should always be careful when handling chemicals.

My burns came from "carpet cleaner strength" hf. It's very dangerous in any concentration . Can you smell it? Then you're absorbing it. There's safer products to reach the same goal.

Yes, you can get burns, I was talking specifically about the pictures in the two links posted. You won't get that from anything off the shelf
