I have been onsite at a flood house here in central Texas since Monday and the unit has performed beyond expectations.

Floodhouse was flooded about eleven hours prior to extraction. Once rx unit was in place it took about thirty minutes to completely setup all eqiupment including rx unit( also includes is the amount of time it took to hookup a dropped on location 70 gallon propane tank). We used about twenty four air movers and rx unit only drawing most the powerfor the air mover from the genset on the rx unit itself.

Ease of setup and operation are as shows in the video demonstration literally and it removed all standing and dripping water out of the crawlspace and carpet within twleve hours.

Will update again tommorrow as we finish job. We expect job to be dry in user forty hours. Will keep you posted. Also have some video but don't have my laptop with me so I will upload when I get back to the office.

If you have any questions I will pass them on.

Hey I got one. How do you distribute all that heat from the point of entry to the furthest back point while maintaining consistent heat thru-out the structure? I mean, aren't there going to be variations in the temp from room to room with the warmest rooms being the ones closest to the unit? Are you taking room and wall temps? And what is the temp that you are maintaining in the home.

Thanks

Air movers are used to move the heat around the house. And from what I have seen to now the house temp equalized. And the rooms temps had a small variation of 1 to 3 degrees.

As far as exhausting the moisture, we picked an evacuation point at the opposite side of the house from where the duct came in. And the heat will move through the path of less restriction.

Hey Michael! Are you using a humidistat type control for exhausting the moisture? What set point have they chosen to start the exhausting process? Thanks, Jim

Hey Jim they are using a system for exhausting the air without an additional air mover to pull or push the air out.

They used preestablished paramaters that state certain cubic feet of air they want escaping from the structure just under the positve pressure being put in by the 4000 cfm of the rx unit.

At the beginning of the dryout we had multiple escape or exhaust points and as th readings changed, we changed and experimented with different escape points. I will say that main point was set at furthest from where the ducts came in.
