Sales people

[SRI Cleaning]

Any one have them? i am interested in putting together a sales team. i have a few friends who are just naturally good sales men and i thought of putting them out on the road on their spare time, trying to make commercial cleaning sales. both janitorial and carpet and hard surface. They would be commission only. I figure if they are passing a place why not stop in?

How should I work this? Any suggestions on percentage? What about one time cleans as opposed to contract recurring cleans? The recurring janitorial cleans have a smaller profit margin so i would have to be concerned about that. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

I know there are a few on that do have sales people working for them. Al Sims has a sales person. Al is currently in Cali right now at Mikefest.

I've been looking into doing the same thing , adding someone for sales. I might have just talked my wife into doing it . That works better for me.

I have a number of salespeople all of which are on commission. If you want to discuss your actual situation feel free to e-mail me directly. There are a few things I'd want to know before giving an opinion such as employee vs sub contractor, the expectations of the person(s) after "the sale" etc.

I had posted this question while alot of your were at mikefest, so i thought i would give it another shot. Any suggestions?

If they are going after commercial cleaning accounts I believe a commission would be the best way to go.

Our sales girl is going only after Water and Fire damage and that work doesn't come immediately so she gets a base pay plus year end bonus.

Our Director of Marketing gets a base pay but chose a weekly bonus if she surpasses our goals.
