Technically it is not a softener because it does not remove the minerals that make water hard. What it does is conditions them so they won't stick to the metal, the white powder that forms on quick connects from hard water can be wiped off doesn't have to be chiseled off or chemically dissolved. It is not a softener but it does help.

I would like to know if anyone has used the NUVO H2O system.

I had to check out your site to make sure you are not a Nuevo02 salesman...lol

So what is this gadget?

I have the Pelican system in my house and fill my fresh water tank with it. Looking at the nuvo to install in the van for when I hook up to a customers water spigot.

That gadget is an air turbine spinner tool from Kirby for vacuuming furniture.

Andy, the link you posted mentions only a sediment filter and a carbon filter. I don't believe either would accomplish what you are suggesting. Is there a piece I'm missing?

Their whole house system has the sediment filter, carbon filter, resin tank (softner).
