Having nothing better to do tomorrow, I hope to clean out a donated motorhome for a local veterans group called Saving Forgotton Warriors.
The motorhome will be used to transport Alabama vets with PTSD to Maryland. There they will get a shot to the stellate ganglion which dulls the overreaction to stimuli (which is such a major part of PTSD. For those for whom it works, it is a godsend.
Saving Forgotton Warriors underwrites the entire trip and the shots through donations. It is a group which punches far above their weight in helping vets with financial need, housing and rides to VA appointments and I am damned proud to support them.
