That's like my wife quoting $200-$300 to a guy to come out and sub surface how small water damage yesterday.

Philippino guy watching over a house with seniors they're gonna pull it all out in a few days cough cough sure!

So I subsurface 100 sq ft and spray a disenfectant and left a airpath to dry it.

I told call insurance your walls the lamanent is buckling blah blah blah.

I'm not a mold guy!

Oh ya and I charged him $150 and I have to go back and get my fan tomorrow.

Why this story you ask?

Because when I said $150! He said come on Sam we're good customers give us a break.

When I left I said to him next time a guy shows up and charges you half say thank you!

He said lol

lol

Thought he was going beat out his Restoration guy and make it all instead of just a percentage.

Work never materialized or dried up and now its killing him. He won't take less because he's already taken a beating. Looks like a good deal. I'd keep the unit and part the truck and equipment out.

Where's the motor Carrier permit number on the door? Does he just blast by the scales?

I'm not sure how it works in CA, but in HI the DOT sticker is required after 10k GVWR.... My box truck is basically the same size as that is and it weighs 9,600lbs... My friend who's certified to do our Safety Checks in the state said I'm fine with my box... He said it doesn't matter how much I load it as it goes based upon the GVWR...

It does seem like a deal... I may have to beat @Able 1 there.........:eekk:

Talked to Lockhart tonight... It's a no go.. If I needed a new truck mount I would buy it in a heartbeat!! Win win if you were going to buy new anyway! I have 3 truck mounts and two vans.. I'm going to buy a transit.

Some numbers don't add up like the 2008 van having a 2007 or earlier font end on it.

Needs to be seen before offer is made is all, I KNOW A thing or two about these kinds of things.

Thought the same thing when I saw it
