Extension pole trick for Seal-A-Door on taller doors especially commercial doors

I ended up putting 2 under each pole on this one due to the wind conditions

Thank you for the "tip" Mark! Yes Mike, yours is a "Combo". It will automatically look longer in a residential entry because of the extended apron...in a commercial doorway, the apron will be perfect. I could adjust the construction to make it an even tighter fit in a commercial doorway, but the result would be to also increase the tension (affecting pull down pressure) in the residential. We are driven by the feedback we get from you guys...so please tell us what you think...tighter compression or leave as is? Thank you!!!

I am going to try this on my next windy day. The wind was blowing directly into the Seal A Door and it didnt want to stay put.

Another option, Tim, is place the upper part of the frame on the outside edge of the jamb....therefore, the jamb will help block it from sliding inward, if that's an issue. Otherwise, for just increasing the pressure, the blocks are a GREAT idea!

You would think it would have a extra inch of spring in it and some grippy rubber feet top and bottom to address this issue.

Too much more spring and it wouldn't work in a lot of residential....

Grippy feet maybe help, but then run risk of marking up a door jamb...

Ron has been working on some other form of extension as well....just taking some time....
