Hi, Just finished stripping our first floor, I have a question. Tomorrow we go in to put the finish on, I purchased sealer and wax. Should I put the sealer on at all? Can I just put down 4 coats of wax instead? If I do put the sealer down will it be really hard to remove next time I strip the floors?
Thank you!

Thanks!
I was leaning that way after reading some posts here. 4 coats of "finish" it is.
So, what application would you use sealer for?

On the few occasions..

very porus areas in need of help..

front of counters, walk through areas IE grocery store check out type area.. underneath chair areas...

it has a bigger molecular make up, thus it fills those voids easier...

problem is, with most thos areas, they dont get taken care of often enough to warent the use

Put the finish on today, found little pieces of fuzz, hair, smudges in the finish between coats.
I do not know if this typical. Hopefully the buff will remove the slight imperfections. All in all, for the first one done, it looks ok.
Thank you for your help.

fuzzys are common...

what type of place it is makes them more...

how hard you look makes them stand out more to

after a while you live with it and move on
