Sealer missing

Sorry for the lack of photos but this is what I got. Nice dark slate in shower. The last cleaner applied a topical, not an enhancer, and the floor areas looks like it peeled away. Rather than dark and shiny on the side walls, the floor is dry looking and dull. The owner just wants the sheen and darkness back on the floor. Suggestions?
